Mountain bikers looking for the ultimate in scenery, history, and terrain can explore the South of Morocco for ten days. Ride an ancient network of dirt paths that wind from Marrakech to the highest pass in the Atlas Mountains, and head southbound to the Sahara Desert. The riding is along rocky jeep tracks covering an average of 30 miles per day. Pedal through traditional villages, visiting the ancient Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, with tea breaks with the Berbers. Then, head into the dunes in 4x4 jeeps, with the chance to ride camels before feasting on a desert barbecue and a night of slumber under starry Saharan skies.
