Las Vegas for the NFL Playoffs

Bally's on the strip

I do this trip every year and it's the best time to be in Vegas if you're sports fan. Two weeks before the Super Bowl is the divisional playoffs. That means there are two NFL playoff games on Saturday and two on Sunday. Most people want to go on the Superbowl, but with only one game it actually gets a little boring. With 4 games on the weekend there's tons of great betting and the games are usually fun to watch. I usually go with 4 or 5 guys and people stay at the Bellagio or The Wynn. I prefer Bally's for the value.

Tips and Advice:

• Stay at Bally's. Right across from The Bellagio sports book and half the price of The Bellagio.
• IF you win go to Picasso in the Bellagio. The best restaurant in Las Vegas.
• If you can fly Virgin America. Some great deals and brand new planes.
• The Monorail is awesome and is a great way to beat the strip traffic
