Doing Yosemite in Style

Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst

The four of us decided to head to Yosemite this year, but with a little different twist. Instead of the usual hotels we headed to the Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst. Oakhurst is just outside the park, but on the south entrance. Nothing much of a town, but the hotel was fantastic. The most incredible service and world class food at the restaurant next door, the Elderberry House.

Tips and Advice:

• Get up early to drive to the valley floor to avoid the traffic
• Stay at Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst
• Don't skip the 3 complimentary three course breakfast!
