Triporama Bookmark Button
The Triporama Bookmark button allows you to bookmark pages on the fly as you research travel on the web. You can store, organize, and share these bookmarks with your group on Triporama. Start by adding the button to your Bookmark/Links Toolbar.
Installing the button is a little different with each browser. Here are instructions for the most popular browsers:
Internet Explorer
- Right-click on the button Triporama Bookmark, and select "Add to Favorites...". You may get a warning saying the favorite may not be safe. This is because the button uses Javascript, however, there is no security risk. Click Yes.
- If there's no panel below the Triporama Bookmark name, click the "Create in >>" button. Then select the "Links" folder and click OK.
- If you don't see the button appear on your Links toolbar, make sure the toolbar is open in your browser. In the View menu, make sure Toolbars -> Links is checked. If the Links toolbar is not fully visible, you may have to move it around. Make sure that View -> Toolbars -> "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked, then click on the left-hand side of the Links Toolbar and drag it to another location so it is fully visible.
- If the button is still not visible after you complete these steps, go to the Favorites menu, select "Organize Favorites", find the Triporama Bookmark listing, then drag and drop it into your Links toolbar.
Firefox
- In the View menu, make sure Toolbars -> "Bookmarks Toolbar" is checked.
- Just drag the button Triporama Bookmark to your bookmarks toolbar.

Notes on using the Triporama Bookmark button
Use your Triporama Bookmark button whenever you find a web page you would like to store. Information from that page is automatically loaded into a form. You can then add notes (to describe it) and tags (to categorize it). Save it and then continue your research from the page you were on. Your bookmarks are automatically accessible by all group members.
Note: you'll need a login to use the Triporama Bookmark button (if you don't already have one, you can sign up for free).
