Getting Started

Create a group trip

  1. Login to Triporama. If you don't have a login, sign up.
  2. Click

    Create a new group trip

    .

  3. Name your group trip

    .
  4. For

    trip dates

    , select one of three options:

    specific dates

    (enter start and end dates using the calendars),

    general time period

    (enter any text, such as "This Summer" or "July 2009"), or

    date poll

    (then enter question and alternatives for group participants to respond to).
  5. Enter information about

    where you're going

    .

  6. Enter a description for your trip

    . You can include the trip description in your invitations (see below) or customize your message instead.

  7. Invite others

    (wait at any point after you create the group trip also). Type in the email addresses of your invitees (one per line). Set a

    reminder date

    when invitees who have not responded will automatically get sent a reminder invitation.

  8. Categorize your group, then click

    Create Group

    . This will automatically establish your group trip page and automatically send any invitations by e-mail.
  • Note: You can edit trip dates, destination information, and trip description after you create the group trip.

Create bookmarks

  1. Add the

    Triporama Bookmark

    button to your browser's toolbar. For detailed instructions, visit the Bookmark Buttons page.
  2. As you do web research, just click the button whenever you find a page you want to bookmark for your group trip page.
  3. Information from the page you are bookmarking is automatically loaded into the bookmark form. You can add additional notes to the bookmark, save it, and continue your research from the page you're on.
  4. Your bookmarks are automatically shared with everyone in your group and are accessible through the

    Bookmarks

    tab from the group trip page. From there, you can also enter in additional bookmarks manually if you wish.
