How the Ambassador Hotel stands out
YOUR BEST SELF
My whole thing is finding a hotel that helps me become my best self. Rooftop bars have a fun vibe and are always a good way to boost my mood - head on up to the O Bar.
Step out the door to take in everything in the Bricktown District - restaurants, bars, and breweries.
Enjoy the museums, family activities, and all the fun Oklahoma City attractions.
And at the end of the day come back to recharge in luxury. Lounge in your room or sit by the fireplace on the terrace. That's a great way to get yourself in your peak mood
AVOID THE FEES
I researched the fees for the top hotels in the area. The Ambassador Hotel is definitely on the low end.
On-site parking is $15 per night, check for latest. Valet parking is $25 per night, check for latest.
Free Wireless Internet.
No resort fee.
I don't like any fees. After all, we are trying to use the smallest possible budget.
Parking for $15-$25 dollars per day isn't bad in a downtown location and there aren't any other fees. These fees are on the low end, which is a good thing. And with points we're paying pennies on the dollar.
Why it’s good with points
This is an upscale downtown Oklahoma City hotel with great amenities. Step outside to enjoy restaurants and downtown activities.
I really like downtown hotels with lots to do nearby. It just feels so good to go out and have a fun day. Then return to the hotel and continue the good times in comfort.
Using points you will get to stay in a luxury King Room.
The most expensive nights of the year are 40,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night. Get a credit card with a sign-up bonus of 100,000 points. That’s enough for two nights. Then have a partner also get the credit card bonus and combine points in one account. All together that’s 200,000 points – enough for five of the most expensive nights. Plus you get the fifth night free on any stay of at least five nights.
A 75,000 point credit card bonus will work almost as well. With $5,000 spend on the credit card that’s enough for even two of the most expensive nights. Now get a partner to also get the credit card bonus and all together you have 160,000 points. That’s enough for four free nights and the fifth night on a stay is free.
The Ambassador Hotel Downtown Oklahoma City gives lots of value with just one or two credit cards.
Get your Marriott Bonvoy credit card and get on your way.
Sapphire points are worth 1 Marriott Bonvoy point. They give you a way to get even more Bonvoy points.
Once you get your sign up bonus with the Marriott Credit Card then get a Sapphire Preferred card.
