The Elms Hotel & Spa Dining
88 AT THE ELMS
Prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, 88 at the Elms offers rustic Midwest fare seasoned with herbs grown from their own raised-bed gardens. Hearth-baked breads and tarts, spit-roasted meats, simply dressed pasta, and fresh fish flown in daily—we deliver dishes with the perfect balance of flavors. You’ll love this dining experience that's as unfussy as the restaurant's casually sophisticated ambiance.
CAFE AT THE ELMS
Coffee. Sweets. Espresso. Do you need any more reasons to visit Café at The Elms? Wake up with a piping-hot espresso shot and a fresh-from-the-oven pastry perfected by our talented in-house bakers. Refresh in the afternoon with a delicious cup of their very own blend of coffee roasted from a local coffee company called The Roasterie. Sun-lit during the day, the café is the perfect place to relax and recharge.
Overlooking the outdoor pool, hot tub, gazebo, and the beautiful rear lawn of The Elms Hotel & Spa, The Tavern is the best place for cocktails and conversation. They deliver an exemplary lounge menu of pub fare, hand-crafted cocktails, local beer selections, and salty snacks.

How The Elms Hotel and Spa stands out
YOUR BEST SELF
My whole thing is finding a hotel that helps me become my best self. Seems like that's the purpose of this hotel as well. It definitely sets a relaxed vibe - get your best mood here and take it to the next level.
Indoor pools are about the greatest thing to give my mood a quick boost. I jump in and my mood is instantly uplifted - no matter the weather outside. The indoor pool here is kind of fancy too.
The hotel has lots of activities to play and relax right on the property. Or stay close and visit a nearby winery, hiking trail, or museum. You could even go in to Kansas City to enjoy a night on the town or see the sites.
With all the nearby activities there's plenty of fun. And this is a great resort to never leave and simply relax and recharge. Any way you do it, this is the kind of place to get your best self.
AVOID THE FEES
I researched the fees for the top hotels in the area. The fees at The Elms Hotel and Spa are low to be sure.
DESTINATION FEE OF $15 PER ROOM PER NIGHT
- Wireless Internet Access throughout the Hotel
- Access to Our Gym, Pool, Lap Pool, and Hot Tub
- On-Site Parking
- In-Room Keurig Coffee and Tea Setup
- In-Room Bottled Water and Water Available in Lobby and Pool
- Weekend Guest Activities
- Yoga on Saturday and Stretch Class on Sunday
That’s a $15 fee that includes Wifi, parking, and the resort fee. I don’t like fees and I don’t pretend to like any fee. Still, that’s pretty reasonable as fees go.
