How the Grand Hyatt Vail stands out
YOUR BEST SELF
My whole thing is finding a hotel that helps me become my best self. Comfort, luxury, and fun times are what I’m looking for.
Grand Hyatt Vail has great outdoors activities in Winter and Summer. If you’re a skier you’ll really love it. It’s ski-in/ski-out convenience is perfect for you. Same for mountain bikers.
Take part in an adventurous outdoor activity if that’s your thing. Even lounge around the hotel and take in the views.
For the rest of us this is a place to enjoy nature with great outdoors activities. Absolutely the unique kind of place that will help the stress of life melt away as we live in nature. After all, what we really want is to get some glow in our face and truly brighten our mood.
This is definitely the kind of place where you can get your best self.
AVOID THE FEES
I researched the fees for the top hotels in the area. The Grand Hyatt Vail has no fees except for a big parking fee – pretty good compared to other hotels.
The hotel offers valet parking for $40 per night, check with the hotel for any updates. No self parking option is available.
Free internet access.
No resort fee.
I never like fees. After all, I’m traveling as cheap as possible – and I really like it to be free.
Sometimes though we just have to swallow the fee and know that we are still paying pennies on the dollar when we use points. This is one of those times to enjoy an amazing hotel – and just pay for parking.
Why it’s good with points
First off, for a good point redemption you want a great hotel. The Vail Grand Hyatt delivers a great experience.
The hotel is 25,000 points per night. That’s a great sweet spot in the Hyatt system.
Get the World of Hyatt credit card with a 50,000 point bonus. You’ll have enough points for two nights at this great escape property. That’s a lot of value from one credit card.
As always, get a partner to also get the credit card bonus – that’s double the points and double the nights.
So go ahead and get the World of Hyatt credit card and get on your way.
Sapphire points are worth one Hyatt point. A Sapphire credit card is a great way to get even more Hyatt points than you can with the Hyatt Credit Card.
Once you get the sign-up bonus from your Hyatt credit card also get a Sapphire card.
