Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown

Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown

Anchorage Midtown Hotel

The Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown delivers with its modern look and comforts.  Personally, I always enjoy the sofas when I can get one in a Hyatt Place.  Just feels fun to lounge on with all that space in a hotel room.

If you’re local just wanting a staycation these room offer plenty of space.  Plus, they just have a comfortable feel.

For those looking to venture out, the Anchorage Midtown Hyatt Place makes a great base for Denali National Park and Chugach State Park.

How Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown Stands Out

My whole thing is finding a hotel that helps me become my best self.  Comfort and fun times are what I’m looking for.

For me, there is almost nothing better to give me a big pick-me-up like an indoor pool.  Just feels so good to go swimming inside – no matter the weather going on outdoors.

This modern hotel delivers on the comfort for sure.  Nice to have extra sized rooms too.

And of course for the fun times head to Westchester Lagoon, Tony Knowles Trail,  Alaska Zoo, and all the restaurants & bars in Midtown Anchorage.

I researched the fees for the top hotels in the area and the Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown does avoid the fees.

Four things jump out about this hotel:

  1. Free breakfast
  2. Free internet
  3. Free parking
  4. No resort fee

That’s a great combination and definitely a big draw in Anchorage.  Internet and parking cost $50 at other Anchorage hotels.  Those charges will kill the feeling of a free stay.

This hotel with its free internet, free parking, and then even providing free breakfast really delivers huge value.

Why it’s good with points

The great vibe at this hotel makes it a solid choice for getting away.  Slipping into a fresh mood will come easily when relaxing here.

The King Bed (with sofa bed) Room is 12,000 points per night.  Get a World of Hyatt credit card with a 50,000 point sign-up bonus – that’s good for four nights.  That’s a lot of value from one credit card.

Like always, get a partner to also get the 50,000 point bonus.  You’ll get double the points and twice as many nights to become your best self.

Get a World of Hyatt credit card and get on your way.

Sapphire points are worth one Hyatt point.  A Sapphire credit card is a great way to get even more Hyatt points than you can with the Hyatt Credit Card.

Once you get the sign-up bonus from your Hyatt credit card also get a Sapphire card.
