How the Hyatt Regency St Louis at The Arch stands out
YOUR BEST SELF
My whole thing is finding a hotel that helps me become my best self. The Hyatt Regency St Louis at The Arch has that combination of luxury comfort in a happening downtown location. Go out and enjoy St Louis, then come back to relax and recharge in your room. That's a great recipe to get into your best mood.
Going to the top of The Arch is a thrill. I'm a little claustrophobic so riding in a little pod to the top wasn't my favorite part - it's a great view though and so fun for me. Great time for everyone on that one.
And I have to mention Forest Park. It's a big and beautiful park with attractions including the Planetarium and the St Louis Art Museum. Max Beckmann is my favorite artist and the museum has a big collection - that's a big draw for me, although not for everyone.
It would be easy to stay at the hotel and simply enjoy the area restaurants and bars. Maybe take in a game at nearby Busch Stadium.
So many ways to enjoy this one. Guess that's the point of having such a happening location.
AVOID THE FEES
I researched the fees for the top hotels in the area. The Hyatt Regency St Louis at The Arch is on the low end for fees.
Valet parking is $40 per night and Self parking is $30 per night, check for current rates.
Free Internet access.
No Resort fee.
This is no exception to me never liking fees. The parking fees are pretty big, even though not out of line for the location.
All together I wish there weren’t any fees. Still, we go on and know that we’re still paying our pennies on the dollar with points.
