How The Ritz Carlton Charlotte stands out

My whole thing is finding a hotel that helps me become my best self.  The Ritz Carlton Charlotte seems to make it easier.  From the luxurious comfort to the Uptown location to the interesting activities in the resort.

Try wine blending or take a tour of the rooftop garden.  Take it as an activity to calm your mind.  It's all part of giving yourself the space to become your best self.

This is just a beautiful hotel with 5 star service.  Plus it has a stunning indoor pool - one of my favorite ways to jumpstart a great mood.

I researched the fees for the top hotels in the area.  Overall, the fees here are half of other 5 star properties.

Valet parking $40 per night, check for current rates.

Wifi $9.95 per night, check for current rates.

No Resort fee.

Like I always say, I don't like any fees.  These fees aren't small, even if the parking is in line with the area.  You might find a cheaper parking option nearby, especially if you don't need the in/out privilege.

I like fees less than anyone.  Still, we're paying pennies on the dollar here and the fees aren't bad at all for a 5 star Ritz Carlton property.

Why it’s good with points

A 5 star Ritz Carlton with so much to offer, this is a great place to give your mood a great big pick-me-up.

Everything about the hotel from the lobby, to restaurants, the indoor pool, and your room is seamless luxury.  Get yourself into your top peak mood.

The great thing about points is that most all nights are 50,000 points.  That's a sweet spot in the Marriott Bonvoy program.

Get a Marriott Bonvoy credit card with a 100,000 point sign-up bonus and you get two nights.

Even better, have a partner also get a 100,000 point sign-up bonus.  Then combine all the points in one account.  All together that's enough points for four nights.  Even better you'll get the fifth night for free on a 5 night stay.

So, you get five nights in this 5 star hotel by getting two credit cards.  That's a lot of luxury and a lot of value from two credit cards.

A 75,000 point sign-up bonus will work almost as well, especially if you get a partner also get the card.  Two bonuses will give you 150,000 points in a combined account – that’s most any three nights in luxury here.

Get your happy mood rolling now.  There are so many ways to lift yourself up in the Ritz Carlton Charlotte and so many ways to keep the fun going at nearby attractions.

And even a smaller credit card bonus is going to give great value in a 5 star property like this one.

As always, have a partner also get the credit card bonus - that's double the points and double the nights.

Get a Marriott Bonvoy credit card and get on your way.

Sapphire points are worth 1 Marriott Bonvoy point.  They give you a way to get even more Bonvoy points.

Once you get your sign up bonus with the Marriott Credit Card then get a Sapphire Preferred card.
